Rad Reading – February

This month I read a book called Refugee by Alan Gratz. I have not finished reading this book yet; I am currently on page 293 out of 317. Scared three kids go on distressing journeys in search of the refugees. All three kids will have to face unimaginable dangerous scenarios. From drownings, to bomb attacks, and to betrayals. But there is always hope that there will be a tomorrow in the world for these kids. And although the kids who are named Josef, Isabel and Mahmoud are separated by continents and decades, astonishing connections will tie their stories together in the very end. I liked this book because it teaches you about the history in the world and makes your brain full of amazing facts. My favorite character from the book is Isabel because she is loving. One piece of evidence from the book to show that she is loving is “ but nobody was going to eat this cat. ‘You’ll just be our little secret,.” One of my favorite quotes from the book is “ No. No boat today.” This quote is meaningful to me because I hate not going on my boat and I love our boat.

My Dream Job

If I could have any job in the entire world, it would to be in a circus and to do acrobatics. Here are some of my reasons why I would want to be in a circus as one of my jobs. One reason why I would do acrobatics in a circus is because I think that it would increase my learning skills and gymnastics skills and balance. My second reason why I would be in a circus is that I love making people amazed by awesome pieces of work and art both difficult and easy. My third reason why I would do acrobatics is because I would like to inspire people that would be interested in doing acrobatics or being in a circus to be successful in life.
